Jason Quigley
As President, Jason possesses a unique combination of professional experience that enables him to identify key risks and solutions to address them early. As a former senior regulator, he ran the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency for BC and the Yukon, overseeing dozens of federal EAs for projects valued in excess of $50 billion, and has served multiple regulatory roles with Fisheries & Oceans Canada. In those roles, he saw first-hand the factors that led to projects that achieved regulatory success compared to those that failed. Before founding one-eighty, Jason served as a private sector mining executive, so he’s experienced the proponent’s view of regulatory challenges. Now as a consultant, Jason works with resource developers, First Nations, government and non-profits, bringing his unique insights into the strategies and approaches necessary to successfully navigate federal and provincial permitting processes.
Carmen Holschuh
Our VP, Carmen is as comfortable in a boardroom as she is in community or in muddy boots on active project construction. This comfort comes from over 20 years of supporting clients in the energy, infrastructure and mining sectors to obtain timely approvals for their Projects. She brings unique insights from having seen some of Canada’s largest and most complex projects not only be permitted, but built, and her clients benefit from all the lessons learned along the way. Through the combination of her experience, Carmen’s developed a keen interest in what makes some projects successful where others fail, bringing practical and actionable guidance to our clients. She guides our teams as an executive leader, and supports our clients through complex regulatory reviews, bringing to life the strategies we deploy to align interests with communities, and create conditions that result in government support.
Franca Petrucci
Franca is Director of Indigenous Collaboration and helps clients align interests with Indigenous groups within and outside of the regulatory process. With a flair for communication and relationships, Franca creatively finds ways to incentivize interest groups (industry, Indigenous, public) to forge value accretive solutions that de-risk projects and create generational benefits for everyone.
Travis Smith
As Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs and with a background practicing law for Indigenous clients, Travis negotiates strategic agreements for Industry and Indigenous clients across Canada. Well versed in the Crowns duty to consult, Travis works with owner teams to guide meaningful engagement and build solid consultation records that regulators rely upon to render timely and durable decisions.
Erin Wallace
Erin is the hub that keeps complex projects moving. As Senior Regulatory Project Manager, she coordinates diverse workstreams across owners' teams to maintain alignment and support the project's overall de-risking strategy.
Krystal Bernhardt
Krystal, Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs, is a regulatory strategist who helps clients achieve fair, effective outcomes in complex regulatory environments. With a repertoire of approaches to respectfully push back on regulators originating from one-eighty’s government insider experience, Krystal advocates for clients in environmental assessments and other permitting processes to drive results for proponents.
In his capacity as Senior Manager of External Affairs, Jay is recognised for his ability to help clients build authentic relationships with various interest groups. As a former world-cup level athlete, Jay is full of grit, charm and persistence and relentlessly applies this to his clients’ benefit to build coalitions of the willing.
